David Miscavige was born on April 30, 1960, in Pennsylvania, United States. David was the youngest child of his parents. David was raised in New Jersey, in a Roman Catholic Polish Italian family.
His father Ronald Miscavige was a trumpet player. During his childhood, David suffered from various allergies and asthma but he was miraculously cured of his illness during a 45-minute Dianetics session. After his cure, David’s family joined Scientology and moved to England, the church’s world headquarter.
David Miscavige attended high school at Marple, Newton, and returned to Philadelphia to complete school. He left school at the age of 16 and moved to Florida to join a sea org, which was a religious order that controlled all Scientology management organizations.
