Maisie Peters was born on the 28th of May 2000, in Steyning, West Sussex, England. Maisie grew up in Brighton a seaside resort within East Sussex, with her parents and twin sister Ellen, whom inspired her single Brooklyn.
Peters began writing songs at the age of 12, after borrowing her friend’s guitar for a school project.
Maisie attended the Steyning Grammar School. This was the place where her artistic journey began as she won the annual talent competition. Influenced by Taylor Swift, Maisie began uploading her music on YouTube in 2015.
