Maluma was born on January 28, 1994, in Medellín, Colombia.
Maluma was born to Marlli Arias and Luis Londoño. Maluma grew up with an older sister, Manuela. Maluma took an early interest in football which he started playing as a toddler through middle school, competing in the lower divisions in the teams Atletico Nacional and Equidad Sports Club.
Maluma started his musical career in 2010, recording singles. After “Farandulera” became a radio hit, Sony Music and its subsidiary label Sony Music Colombia decided to sign the singer to record his first studio album.
Maluma rose to fame with his debut album “Magia” in 2012, and since then, he has become one of the most successful Latin music artists in the world. Maluma has released many chart-topping albums, including “Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy,” “F.A.M.E.,” and “11:11.”
