Rachel Bilson recently made headlines for discussing her sex life during a podcast episode with comedian Whitney Cummings. The actress admitted that she had never experienced an orgasm from sexual intercourse until she was in her 30s. She also revealed that she had previously achieved orgasm through self-stimulation but not with a partner.
The revelation was after Whitney, 40, shared how her sex drive has increased after going off birth control. “I have not had an orgasm from sex until I went off birth control,” the comedian said on the March 13 episode of Rachel’s Broad Ideas podcast. “Never had it in my life until I turned 40…but I could do it with my hands.”
Rachel, 41, then replied Whitney that she was the same.
“It didn’t happen for me until I was about 38,” the she admitted. “Isn’t that crazy?” Rachel also noted that she had previously gotten it done on her own, but “not with, like, dick inside.”
This is not the first time Bilson has shared intimate details about her sex life, as she also made a joke about her ex-boyfriend’s genital size on a previous podcast episode. Bilson attributes her openness about sex to her upbringing in a sex-positive and candid household.
