She made her feature film debut in 2005 with Hindi film Chand Sa Roshan Chehra. She was just 15 at that time. The movie tanked at the box office. In the same year she made her Telugu film debut with movie Sri. She made her Tamil film debut in 2006 with the movie Kedi. Her breakthrough performance came from the Telugu movie Happy Days and Tamil movie Kalloori released in 2007 which were hit at the box office and established her has a star in South film industry.
