Osiris was amazed by music from an early age and liked old-school R&B and modern rap music.  Osiris gained inspiration from renowned artists Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, and The Temptations.

Osiris began making music with the hopes of bringing the old-school sounds of his inspirations with a modern flare. Little did Osiris know that he was creating a harmony which would be loved by millions across the globe.

YK Osiris Career:

Osiris started by posting his songs on the internet. YK Osiris first single was Fake Love, and he released it under the rap name Osiris.

The song garnered views but not nearly enough to gain the attention of a rap label.

In January 2018, YK Osiris changed his name to YK( Young King) Osiris and released I’m Next Freestyle. This single was viral and gained millions of views on YouTube and put the music industry on notice.

Osiris would keep doing the good work and released his breakthrough single Valentine, which garnered over 10 million streams within several weeks of its release.

Valentine would be remixed by Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert and elevated Osiris into a famous celebrity.Osiris soon became one of the most sought-after independent artists and had offers from various record labels.

YK Osiris would ultimately sign with Def Jam Recording and begin the rollout for his debut album, The Golden Child.

The lead single for the album was Worth It; the hit peaked at number 48 on the Billboard Hot 100. Osiris’s success has allowed him to work with some of the industry’s biggest stars.

YK Osiris worked with Dababy for the song Freaky Dancer and Gospel and Kehlani for the single Ride.

As his fame rises, the opportunity to work with the more established artist will only increase, and YK Osiris will reap the benefits.

Drake is not the only person who asked YK to repay his debt. Earlier, a video of Lil Baby asking YK to pay him back had made rounds on the internet.

Lil Baby tells YK to pay him the “5 bands”, meaning $5,000, that he owes the former. YK responds saying, “I could get you today! I can’t wait to get it to you!” Lil Baby says, “Boy owe me $5,000 man, I’m waiting on his next hit!”

It is not clear why YK owes money to Lil Baby as neither of them have spoken about it.

While some fans found YK OSIRIS performance at Drake’s entertaining, others are wondering why he owes so much money to other rappers.

YK Osiris Interesting Facts:

Osiris, since he was a toddler, liked R&B, and as he got older, YK held on to that passion and is now worth millions. Often as adults, people lose their initial passion because it seems unattainable or farfetched.

Osiris found his passion early and acted on it by uploading videos of himself to the internet, and the rest is history. When it comes to dreams, no one is going to help you achieve them. It starts with self; take the initiative.
